Rained out in finale
Post 334′s visit to Rapid City and the annual Firecracker tournament ended with a Sunday morning rain out. The final game scheduled with the Omaha club was called off before it even began because of an unexpected shower that rolled out of the Black Hills and sat over Floyd Fitzgerald Stadium.
The tournament schedule was picked up later in the day. Host team Post 22 of Rapid City took third, while Missoula outlasted Eden Prairie in nine innings in the finale to claim the championship 10-9.
