Post 334 sustained two more setbacks
Rapid City Post 22 scored three runs in the fifth and five runs in the sixth to break a 3-3 tie and beat Post 334 on day two (June 30) of the Firecracker tournament 10-2. Post 334 then came up two runs short in its third tournament game to the Las Vegas Durango, 6-4.
Sammy Smith had a 4-for-4 performance in the second game of the day, a game in which Post 334 trailed 6-2 going into the last of the seventh and finished with the tying runs on second and third.
