Post 334 opens the Firecracker against a couple of old rivals
The Post 334 baseball team will open the annual Rapid City Firecracker tournament (June 29 through July 4) against two longtime rivals, Eden Prairie and host Post 22.
For the third consecutive year Post 334 will open the tournament at 7:30 a.m., June 29 against Eden Prairie, then comes back June 30 for a 12:30 p.m. game against Post 22.
Also on June 30, 3:30 p.m., Post 334 will face longtime national rival Las Vegas (Durangos), then plays two more Thursday, July 1: against Omaha at 10 a.m. and Missoula at 12:30 p.m.
On Friday, July 2, Post 334 faces the Boulder, Colorado team at 9:30 a.m., then hooks up with another Colorado team out of Denver, Saturday, July 3 at 3 p.m. Depending on its finish in its first seven games will dictate what time and against what opponent it will complete the Firecracker Sunday, July 4.
