The drought continued
Not enough hits and definitely not enough runs cost Post 334 a 15-3 loss to Ham Lake June 25 at Wintercrest West.
The loss tied the season’s worst loss (also 15-3) suffered by Post 334 at Osseo earlier in June. It was also Post 334’s seventh loss in its last 10 games. Joe Brinda started, but was knocked out before the third was complete after Ham Lake hitters collected seven runs on seven hits.
Post 334 was as close as 4-3 in the second thanks to a bases loaded walk issed to Mike Latta and a sacrifice fly by Devin Croal, but fell behind 7-3 shortly thereafter and did not threaten again.
