On the second day of tournament play in the River River Diamond Classic in Fargo and Moorhead, the Post 334 team split its set of scheduled pool games. In three innings, Post 334 dispatched the Fargo Sox 15-0 as Jeremy Oakley and Billy Hirschi hit 3- and 2-run home runs. Post 334 scored 12 times and collected 11 hits in the first inning. In a seven-inning afternoon game against the Bismarck Governors, Post 334 collecte 15 hits, two of which were home runs by Devin Croal. Ian Andrews also added a 3-run homer. But Bismarck’s 6-run fifth inning turned a close game — that an inning before was 6-6 — into a lead that was tough for Post 334 to overcome. The final was a 15-10 loss — Post 334′s four in its first five games this summer…
