Not a good opening night
Rosemount came to Wintercrest West Wednesday night, June 10 for a doubleheader and swept out Post 334 in its season-opening games 12-2 and 6-5. Post 334 fell behind 5-0 in the first inning of the first game and never recovered before allowing the contest to completely get away in the final inning. In the second game, Post 334 took a 5-4 lead in the top of the eighth (Rosemount was the home team in game two), but three consecutive two-out walks loaded the bases, then a high infield pop up above the lights was misjudged and fell straight down on the mound for a walk-off two-run hit…
