Post 334 to play in 2009 Firecracker and Gopher Classic tournaments
The 2009 Coon Rapids Post 334 baseball team will be back in Rapid City, South Dakota for the annual Firecracker tournament June 29 through July 5, then will finish up its regular season schedule in the annual Gopher Classic, July 10-14 during the summer of 2009.
Post 334 has made two previous appearances in the Rapid City Post 22 Firecracker in 2007 and 2008, while it has been part of the field in the nation’s largest American Legion tournament, the Gopher Classic, since 2003 with the 2007 team taking the title.
