Osseo snatches top seed from Post 334
A pair of two-out Osseo rallies in the second and sixth innings was enough to send Post 334 to its fourth defeat in North Hennepin League play Wednesday night 5-2 at Wintercrest West.
Osseo scored two in the second and three in the sixth and that was it.
The loss left Post 334 in the No. 2 seeded position for next week’s league playoff, which means it will have to go through Osseo at some point to qualify for the 10th District tournament.
Joe Brinda drove in Post 334′s first run and Cory Miller drove in the last two. Post 334, which has been up and down all season, once again could not hit with runners in scoring position, left 10 on base. Osseo pitching collected 12 strikeouts.
