It was definitely an anti-frustration pill
In an outburst that revealed some of the inner recent frustrations of Post 334’s team play, the Champlin Patriots took the brunt of a 16-3 shellacking Wednesday night.
Post 334 scored two in the first, two in the second and four in the third for an 8-2 lead. In the fourth it scored seven more runs and added a final run in the fifth. Mike Latta and Zac Sather both had three hits and drove in four runs each, while Joe “Bruno” Brinda had two hits and drove in a run. He also had a memorable catch in center field early in the game when the score was still close. Also, Corey Johnson snapped out of a personal drought of sorts when he blasted a towering home run over the left field barrier into Jesse Ventura’s training swamp.
The win snapped a two-game losing string and raised Post 334’s record going into the Gopher Classic to 16-13…
